Sitting in front of a Christmas tree with 1,500 lights, Karoline Lewis shares a powerful reminder for preachers this Christmas season: ponder.

The most attended worship services of the year—Christmas and Easter—are when we make our most outrageous, unbelievable claims: that God raised Jesus from the dead and that God became flesh.

This Christmas, you don’t have to explain it. You don’t have to validate it. You don’t have to interpret it.

All we do is preach that outrageous claim of love.

What are you pondering this Christmas?
