Warren Carter is Professor of New Testament at Brite Divinity School in Fort Worth, Texas. He is a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary (Ph.D. in New Testament Studies).

Recent publications include God in the New Testament (Abingdon, 2016), Telling Tales about Jesus: An Introduction to the Gospels (Fortress, 2016), The New Testament: Methods and Meanings (with A-J Levine; Abingdon, 2013), Seven Events That Shaped the New Testament World (Baker, 2013), What Does Revelation Reveal? (Abingdon, 2011), The Roman Empire & the New Testament (Abingdon, 2006), and a commentary on Matthew, Matthew and the Margins (Orbis Books, 2000). A number of these publications provide appropriate resources for adult Sunday school classes.
