Walter Sundberg is Professor Emeritus of Church History at Luther Seminary, where he began teaching in 1978. Dr. Sundberg recently published an Introduction to the theology of the 19th century Lutheran confessional theologian August Vilmar that serves as a preface to the translation of Vilmar’s Theology of Facts Against the Theology of Rhetoric (Lutheran Legacy Press, 2008) translated with notes by Roy Harrisville.
