Biography
Sung Soo Hong is an independent scholar. He earned a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin specializing in Hellenistic Judaism, New Testament, Christian origins, and early Christianity. His dissertation examines the Letter of James in light of ancient letter writing and Hellenistic moral philosophies. He worked at Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary as a Visiting Assistant Professor of New Testament and a Louisville Postdoctoral Fellow.
