Sharon Betsworth is the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean; Professor of New Testament at Saint Paul School of Theology in Leawood, Kansas. She holds a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies (New Testament) from the Graduate Theological Union and focuses her research on children in the New Testament and the ancient world. She is the author of The Reign of God Is Such As These: A Socio-Literary Analysis of Daughters in the Gospel of Mark (T&T Clark, 2010), Children in Early Christian Narratives (Bloomsbury/T&T Clark, 2015) and co-edited The T&T Clark Handbook of Children in the Bible and the Biblical World (2019), with Julie Faith Parker.
