Sally A. Brown is Professor of Preaching and Worship, Emerita, at Princeton Theological Seminary. Among her books are the preaching textbook, Ways of the Word: Learning to Preach for Your Time and Place, co-authored with Luke A. Powery (Fortress, 2016) and Sunday’s Sermon for Monday’s World: Preaching to Shape Daring Witness (Eerdmans, 2020). Her weekly homiletical commentary on the lectionary gospel text is posted on  www.lectionarygreek.help, which features grammatical commentary by Professor John C. B. Petropoulos (Athens, Greece), an expert in classical and koine Greek.
