Biography
Rev. Roy A. Harrisville III, received his M. Div. from Luther Northwestern Seminary in 1981. He received his Ph.D. in Biblical Interpretation from Union Theological Seminary. Two years later he published his dissertation, The Figure of Abraham in the Epistles of St. Paul, with Mellen University Press. In addition to teaching at Trinity Lutheran College, he has taught as an adjunct instructor or visiting professor at two seminaries, an ELCA college, and a state university. He served as senior pastor at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Menomonie, Wis., and is now serving as pastor of New Life Lutheran Church in Menomonie, a congregation of the North American Lutheran Church. Among his publications are articles in Novum Testamentum, Interpretation, and Lectionary Homiletics.
