Richard Swanson teaches religion at Augustana College, Sioux Falls. He is the director of the Provoking the Gospel Storytelling Project and has written a series of commentaries on the gospels for preachers, performers, and storytellers. He has also collaborated with composers to create performances of the St. Mark Passion and the Book of Job. His next musical collaboration will be a performance of Creation/Re-Creation stories from Genesis and Revelation.
