Biography
Rebecca Poe Hays is Project Coordinator for the Institute of Faith and Learning at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, where she also teaches Hebrew at George W. Truett Theological Seminary.
Her research interests center around the power of story and storytelling — particularly in poetic texts — to shape beliefs and behavior. She is the author of a number of articles in journals such as The Journal of Biblical Literature, The Journal for the Study of the Old Testament, and Zeitschrift für die alttestamentliche Wissenschaft and is the co-editor of C. S. Lewis Remembered (Zondervan, 2006) and The Good, the True, and the Beautiful (Chalice, 2007). In addition to her scholarly work, Dr. Poe Hays has served in churches and Christian non-profits in Tennessee, Alabama, and Texas.
