Rev. Michael Pasquarello III is the Granger E. and Anna A. Fisher Professor of Preaching at Asbury Theological Seminary. Mike attended the Divinity School, Duke University, receiving the Master of Divinity in 1983.  He served in pastoral ministry to United Methodist congregations in North Carolina from 1983-2001. Mike earned the Master of Arts (1999) and Doctor of Philosophy (2002) degrees from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Mike has recently completed, We Speak Because We Have First Been Spoken: A “Grammar” of the Preaching Life (Eerdmans, forthcoming), and his current project is John Wesley: Homiletic Theologian: a ‘Preaching Life.’ (Abingdon)
