Mary Jane Haemig is a Professor Emeritus of Church History at Luther Seminary. Haemig received a B.A. from the University of Minnesota in 1977, and received both a master of theological studies (M.T.S.) from Harvard Divinity School and a doctor of jurisprudence (J.D.) degree from Harvard Law School in 1981. She received her Doctor of Theology from Harvard in 1996. Professor Haemig specializes in the study of the Lutheran reformation and is also the director of the Thrivent Reformation Research Program.
