Mark Tranvik is Professor of Reformation History and Theology at Luther Seminary. He is also an ordained pastor in the ELCA. His area of specialty is the Lutheran Reformation. He authored Martin Luther and the Called Life (Fortress Press, 2016) and The Freedom of a Christian, which is now out from Fortress in a new and expanded edition (2026).
