Biography

Linda Berger is an Associate Professor of Music at St. Olaf College, where she is responsible for the music education program, supervises student teachers and teaches music methods, keyboard classes, and a Spectrum of Music course for non-majors. She has a special interest in the role of music in worship, and has been a church musician in Lutheran congregations for more that thirty years. Currently Linda serves as Traditions Organist at Calvary Lutheran Church of Golden Valley.

Dr. Berger earned a B.A. degree in music education from St. Olaf College, and the M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in music from the University of Minnesota,.  She has studied Dalcroze eurhythmics at the Juilliard School of Music in New York City, and Cognitive Coaching through the Denver area Center for Cognitive Coaching.
