Kristin A. Swanson is Professor of Religion at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, where her teaching interests include biblical studies, religion and sport, and the recreational use of the natural world. She is interested in the academic study of the Bible as a tool kit in faith formation settings, most recently combining this interest with her research on the book of Judges for the forthcoming updated edition of the Lutheran Study Bible.
