Klaus-Peter Adam is Associate Professor of Old Testament at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago.
His recent work has focused on the command “Love your neighbor!” He is passionate about the relevance of biblical law in today’s world, for instance, how understanding conflicts in the Bible can help us to better comprehend the intention of the “Defund-the-police” movement. He also works on the Psalms and the books of Samuel. Hailing from southwest Germany, he is an ordained minister of the ELCA, living in the Kenwood neighborhood of Chicago.
