Jerome Creach is the Robert C. Holland Professor of Old Testament at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. His latest book is Violence in Scripture (Interpretation: Resources for the Use of Scripture in the Church; Westminster John Knox Press, 2013). His work on the psalms includes three books: The Destiny of the Righteous in the Psalms (Chalice Press, 2008); Psalms: Interpretation Bible Studies (Geneva Press, 1998); and Yahweh as Refuge and the Editing of the Hebrew Psalter (Sheffield University Press, 1996). He is also the author of a commentary on Joshua in the Interpretation Commentary series (Westminster John Knox Press, 2003).
