Jeannine K. Brown is professor of New Testament at Bethel Seminary, St. Paul, Minnesota. She earned her Ph.D. from Luther Seminary, St. Paul, with her dissertation focused on the portrayal of the disciples in Matthew’s gospel. Brown has published in the areas of biblical hermeneutics, Matthew’s gospel, the gospel of John, 1 Peter, and interdisciplinary integration. Her recent books include The Gospels as Stories (2020) and Philippians (Tyndale NT series; 2022).
