Jeannine K. Brown is professor of New Testament at Bethel Seminary, St. Paul, Minnesota. She earned her Ph.D. from Luther Seminary, St. Paul, with her dissertation focused on the portrayal of the disciples in Matthew’s gospel. Brown has published in the areas of biblical hermeneutics, Matthew’s gospel, the gospel of John, 1 Peter, and interdisciplinary integration. Her most recent book, Becoming Whole and Holy: An Integrative Conversation about Christian Formation (2011), is a co-authored volume that explores Christian formation from biblical studies, social science, and ethics.
