Jane Lancaster Patterson is Professor Emerita of New Testament at Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, Texas. She is the author of Keeping the Feast: Metaphors of Sacrifice in 1 Corinthians and Philippians (SBL Press, 2015); and “Gathering Up the Fragments: Cultic Metaphors, Scripture, and Embodied Experience in Philippians” in Scripture, Texts, and Tracings in 2 Corinthians and Philippians, ed. by Das and Oropeza (Lanham, MD: Lexington Books/Fortress Academic, 2022). She serves as Project Director for seminars and initiatives on vocation at Collegeville Institute, Collegeville, MN.
