Ginger Barfield lives in Columbia, SC. She retired at the end of 2021 after 18 years with Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary (Lenoir-Rhyne University) where she served variously as VP and Academic Dean of the seminary, Professor of Biblical Studies and Theology, and Director of the Baptist Studies Program. In retirement she will continue some teaching and writing and have more time for golf and her beagle.
