Gennifer Benjamin Brooks is the Ernest and Bernice Styberg Professor of Preaching and director of the Styberg Preaching Institute at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, and Dean of the Association of Chicago Theological School (ACTS) Doctor of Ministry in Preaching program. She is an elder in the New York Conference of the United Methodist Church. She is the author of Good News Preaching: Offering the Gospel in Every Sermon; Unexpected Grace: Preaching Good News from Difficult Texts and Bible Sisters: A Year of Devotions with the Women of the Bible.
