Elizabeth Shively is Lecturer in New Testament Studies at the University of St Andrews in Scotland. She received her Ph.D. from Emory University where she also studied homiletics.  Elizabeth served on the ministerial staff at Park Street Church in Boston from 1997-2004.  Her publications include an article on preaching first-person narrative in the classroom, “Cultivating Imagination in Biblical Interpretation: A Classroom Exercise,” in Practical Matters: A Transdisciplinary Multimedia Journal of Practical Theology and Religious Practices (Issue 1, Spring 2009).
