Edward Pillar has served as the Minister of Evesham Baptist Church, U.K., since 1995. He gained his Ph.D. in Biblical Studies through University of Wales, Trinity St. David in 2012.

Fortress Press published Pillar’s Resurrection as Anti-Imperial Gospel in the Emerging Scholars Series (2013). He has also contributed commentaries on 1 and 2 Thessalonians to the Fortress Commentary on the Bible (2014).
