Dorothy A. Lee is Professor Emerita in New Testament, associated with Trinity College, University of Divinity. She is an Anglican priest within the Diocese of Melbourne and a Fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities. She has published widely in New Testament, with a particular interest in the Gospel of John. Her most recent publications are The Ministry of Women in the New Testament: Reclaiming the Biblical Vision for Church Leadership (Baker Academic, 2021) and a book on Johannine themes entitled John (Zondervan, 2025). She is currently writing a commentary on the poetics of the Gospel of John. Her hobbies include reading, walking and playing with her two Tonkinese cats.
