Catherine Sider Hamilton is Professor of New Testament and New Testament Greek at Wycliffe College at the University of Toronto, and recently retired priest of the Diocese of Toronto. She is the author of The Death of Jesus in Matthew: Innocent Blood and the End of Exile (Cambridge University Press, 2017) and the essay collection Writing the Gospels: A Dialogue with Francis Watson (Bloomsbury/T&T Clark, 2019), as well as various articles. Preaching is for her a challenge and joy, the goal toward which all gospel study tends.
