The Very Rev. Dr. Carmen Lansdowne holds a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies from the Graduate Theological Union, a Th.M. and an M.Div. from the Vancouver School of Theology. She is an ordained minister in The United Church of Canada. Carmen currently serves as Assistant Professor of United Church of Canada Studies at Emmanuel College of Victoria University in the University of Toronto. She is of mixed Indigenous & euro-Settler ancestry and a registered member of the Heiltsuk First Nation on the central coast of British Columbia.
