C. L. Crouch is David Allan Hubbard Professor of Old Testament at Fuller Theological Seminary, having previously taught at the universities of Oxford, Cambridge and Nottingham (UK). She is author of several books and numerous articles, including War and Ethics in the Ancient Near East (2009), The Making of Israel (2014), Israel and the Assyrians (2014), and An Introduction to the Study of Jeremiah (2017). Her current work is interested in the way that the traumas of forced migration and imperial domination have affected the theologies of Jeremiah and Ezekiel.
