Brent A. Strawn is professor of Old Testament at the Candler School of Theology and Graduate Division of Religion, Emory University, where he has taught since 2001, and where he is a Senior Fellow in the Center for the Study of Law and Religion. He is the editor of numerous volumes and the author, most recently, of The Old Testament Is Dying: A Diagnosis and Recommended Treatment (Baker Academic, 2017).
He is ordained in the United Methodist Church.
