Biography
Beth E. Elness-Hanson is Associate Professor of Hebrew Bible at Wartburg Theological Seminary, where she is on a leave of absence to engage a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship. This biblical-ecotheology project with the Maasai people group is situated at Tumaini University Makumira of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania and managed through VID Specialized University, Norway, where she is also Associate Professor at the Center for Mission and Global Studies. Elness-Hanson’s research engages intercultural and African biblical hermeneutics.
