April Hoelke Simpson is Assistant Professor of Religion at Georgetown College. She previously served as Visiting Assistant Professor of Religious Studies at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, and she earned her Ph.D. in Religious Studies from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Simpson’s research and teaching specialization is the Gospels, and she is currently working on a book project relating to women in Mark. She also enjoys teaching a range of topics related to Christianity and other religious traditions.
