Rev. Dr. Bailey is the coordinating minister of Parkdale United Church in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. By God’s grace he is committed to deploying his gifts and his varied academic, vocational and cultural backgrounds to bear witness to the gospel, inspire faith, engagement and the advancement of justice and the common good. His academic degrees are in social work, theology, philosophy of religion and ethics. He has experience teaching at a university level and has also served in Kenya, Jamaica and the USA. In his public ministry and interfaith work, Dr. Bailey delivers diversity, equity, inclusion and anti-Black systemic racism training to Police Services, Federal Government departments, schools and community organization. He enjoys family time, cycling, reading and playing hockey.
