Reverend Hamilton is the founding pastor of the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection Leawood, Kansas. He is the author of numerous books and small group studies. He serves as a Trustee at Saint Paul School of Theology and as a member of the Kansas East Board of Professional Ministry. Rev. Hamilton has been named Distinguished Evangelist of the United Methodist Church by the Foundation for Evangelism and serves his calling as preacher and pastor at the Church of the Resurrection which, in a survey of pastors, was named the most influential mainline church in America in 2005.
