Rev. Mindi Welton-Mitchell is the Regional Executive Minister for the American Baptist Churches of Wisconsin. She writes fiction under the name Melinda Mitchell and is the author of two science fiction novels that are retellings of Biblical stories: Fortunate Son, out from Not A Pipe Publishing (2025) and Next of Kin, set to be re-released in 2026.
