Rebecca Dean is New Testament Lecturer and Tutor for Admissions at Ripon College Cuddesdon, an Anglican Theological College in Oxfordshire, UK. She has a bachelor’s degree in Theology from the University of Birmingham, UK, and master’s and doctoral degrees in New Testament Theology from the University of Oxford. She is a member of the United Reformed Church.

 Rebecca’s doctoral research focused upon the portrayal of religious experience and dream-visions in the Acts of the Apostles. Other research interests include storytelling and narrative theology, the construction of identity in religious communities, and ecological interpretations of the Bible. Rebecca is the Editor of Animal Watch, the magazine of the Anglican Society for the Welfare of Animals.
