Christopher Davis is a Ph.D. candidate in Leadership at Anderson University, Anderson, South Carolina. He graduated from Memphis Theological Seminary, MAR and United Theological Seminary, D.Min.
He presently serves as Associate Dean of Doctoral Studies / Associate Professor of Pastoral Ministry and Preaching at Memphis Theological Seminary, Memphis, Tennessee.
In addition, he’s served as Senior Pastor of St. Paul Baptist Church, Memphis, since 2000. His work has been published in The African American Lectionary, an online resource that provides preaching, culture, and worship commentaries; it is a collaborative project of Vanderbilt Divinity School and the African American Pulpit, Inc., online at www.TheAfricanAmericanLectionary.org.
