Meda Stamper

Meda Stamper is a minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA) with a Ph.D. in New Testament from Princeton Theological Seminary.  She has served in congregational ministry in the United Reformed Church in England and has developed one-woman performances of John, Mark, Philippians, Jonah, and the birth narratives of Matthew and Luke.  Meda is interested in how multi-dimensional engagement with texts (spiritual, creative, and intellectual) may help us embody the good news in our lives; she has offered this sort of multi-dimensional approach to the Gospel of Mark in her recent book Embodying Mark.  Her dissertation, Performing Love: Entering the Future Through the Ending of John, was a narrative-theological reading of John 21:15-25.
