‘Like’ us on Facebook
Jan. 12, 2012
Dear Working Preacher,
Every week, you seek to nurture and build the Christian community through creative, biblical sermons. We want to support you in this effort by offering free,
reliable preaching resources on this site.
Here’s one way you can help us:
Visit our Facebook page and like us.
We have found that Facebook is a better way to connect on a regular basis than the Ning discussion site that launched in 2008. We’d like to combine the community of nearly 2,500 preachers on Facebook with the 1,700 Ning members to create a larger and more vibrant community.
Here’s why:
We noticed that engagement via the Ning site is occasional at best and often quite sporadic for most users. So we’ve been giving considerable thought to what platform might best sustain the kind of thoughtful and regular discussion that will best support our users, and after studying the results from a recent survey and analyzing the user-patterns of our members, we have decided to focus on our Facebook page.
As a result, we are shutting down the Ning site on Jan. 25, 2012.
So, we’re encouraging you to visit our Facebook page and “Like” us. It’s that simple.
What does this mean for you?
